Carplan Ford Blue Acrylic Spray Paint (Gloss) – 400 ml

Tetrosyl’s CARPLAN COLOR MATCH is acrylic-based spray paint for interior and exterior
use. It is suitable for many surfaces including wood, metal, Glass, ceramic, paper, Cardboard
and most plastics.

Preparation:
• Ensure surface is clean, dry & rust free.
• Sand surface and mask off surrounding areas.
• To ensure a high quality finish use CarPlan Hi-Build Primer or if painting plastic use CarPlan
Plastic Primer to avoid flaking. For the correct primer colour always refer to the CARPLAN
CROSS MATCH manual.
• If paint surface is unknown test compatibility on a small inconspicuous area similar to that
being sprayed.
Colour Application & Drying Times:
• Shake can for a minimum of two minutes.
• Hold can 20-30 cm (8-12 inches) from surface. Spray in alternate horizontal and vertical
strokes.
• Apply several coats, allowing each coat to become tacky between applications
(approximately 10 minutes). Shake can in between applications
• Regularly invert can and spray to remove paint from nozzle. On completion of use, invert
can and spray to remove paint from nozzle. Clean any dried paint from nozzle with a pin.
• For the best results on ‘ two stage’ automotive colours apply a final coat of CarPlan Clear
Lacquer to achieve a match to the original finish. For general use around the home & garden
use CarPlan Clear Finish for extra protection, especially on outdoor applications.
FINAL TOUCHES:
Dried runs & sags on cars can be removed using a rubbing compound. To remove overspray &
blend in the new paint work, leave for seven days, then treat with T-Cut Colour Restorer. For a
professional finish always use a high quality polish, Triplewax Polish is ideal.
TOUCHING UP:
Prepare surface. Remove Brush from under the cap. Carefully spray a small amount of paint
into inverted cap. While paint is wet, dip brush and apply to the area to be treated.
STORAGE:
Store and use this paint at room temperature. Low temperature below 10°C may reduce
aerosol performance. CarPlan Colour Match is suitable for use with both acrylic and cellulose
paints. Regularly invert and spray to clear nozzle. In case of blockage clean nozzle with
cellulose solvent or carefully remove any obstruction with pin. After use, invert can and spray
continuously until nozzle is clear. Ensure can is empty before disposal.
